Facility & Engine Control Systems (FECS)
The Yanos Aerospace Facility & Engine Control System (FECS) is designed to control and monitor all aspects of the facility and engine in a test cell. Using a truly distributed design approach, the FECS is divided into multiple NEMA rated enclosures and located throughout the facility at points close to the sensors and control hardware.

Adding a local control interface to the distributed enclosures allows for on-demand control and monitoring, which aids in maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

Choose an NI cRIO or a PLC Based System

Yanos Aerospace provides customers with the choice of a high-performance cRIO based system from National Instruments, or a conventional PLC based system, for all control and data acquisition systems.

All COTS hardware is integrated with the Yanos Aerospace Dynamic Data Server (yDDS), which allows for automatic logging, alarm monitoring, display, and analysis of data from a network of distributed controllers.
